James Wayne (R&B musician) James Wayne (R&B musician) American R&B singer, songwriter and musician (1920/24–1978) James Douglas Wayne (March 3, 1920[1] or April 17, 1924 – March 31, 1978),[2][3] who recorded in the 1950s and early 1960s as James Waynes, James Wayne, and Wee Willie Wayne, was an American rhythm and blues singer, songwriter and musician.
