Dick Curless

Dick Curless (1932–1995) was an American-Canadian country music singer and guitarist, noted for his distinctive vocal range and eye patch. He gained prominence in the 1960s with his hit "A Tombstone Every Mile," which showcased his themes of trucking and life on the road, leading to a successful career that included eleven top-40 hits and albums popular in Europe. Curless's music combined elements of country, folk, and gospel, and he remained active in the industry until his death from stomach cancer in 1995.
