Zoila Emperatriz Chávarri Castillo (September 13, 1922[1][2][3] – November 1, 2008), known as Yma Sumac ("Ima sumaq" means "how beautiful" in Quechua),[4] was a Peruvian-born vocalist, actress, model, musical composer and producer.
