The CheersThe Cheers were an American vocal group known for their novelty hits in the mid-1950s, notably "(Bazoom) I Need Your Lovin'" and "Black Denim Trousers and Motorcycle Boots," both written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The group included members Bert Convy, Perry Botkin Jr., Susan Allen, and Gil Garfield, who were based in Los Angeles. They contributed to the early rock and roll era, becoming one of the first white groups to achieve chart success in the genre. Following their peak, members pursued varied careers, with Convy later becoming a television game show host. (Source: Wikipedia)
