Ilse WernerIlse Werner (1921-2005) was a Dutch-German actress and singer, known for her work during the 1930s to 1950s, particularly in German wartime films. Born in Batavia, Dutch East Indies, she moved to Germany at age 10 and gained popularity at UFA Studios. Werner faced a brief hiatus from performance after World War II due to her association with Nazi propaganda but returned to act in dramas and musicals throughout the 1950s and beyond. She continued to perform until her last television appearance in 2001, and she passed away from pneumonia in Lübeck, Germany. (Source: Wikipedia)
